Testing & Certification
Whether your product is developed by AES or is already in production, we can meet your testing and certification requirements.
Product Testing is a key part of our product development process, and includes up to three main phases: verification, qualification, and screening.
Verification, which is to the step that validates that the design performs as specified, is commonly carried out the first units built. AES has the expertise not only to define the particulars of this test but also to execute it, in many cases with the equipment we have in-house.
During Qualification testing, the product is subjected to varying operational and environmental conditions to ensure robust operation. AES has defined and conducted qualification tests on commercial and defense products, against a variety of commercial and military standards (i.e., MIL-STD-810). Not only will we test your product, we work to find root causes and propose and incorporate design solutions.
When temperature or humidity Screening is required, AES can conduct this on-site in our environmental test chamber. AES can also define and conduct HALT (highly accelerated life test), and help you interpret the results.
For most commercial products, some kind of certification or agency approval is required before it can be sold. AES has extensive experience in obtaining product approvals in the US, Europe, Asia, Pacific Rim, Africa, and South America. During the design process, we can work these agencies to pave the wave for approval, and during the certification process, we manage communication with agencies and test labs that can certify your product.
